Hairware & Co – est. July 2004
Nearly 30 years ago Jeri and Dee started their professional careers in the same salon, but there was not much thought of teaming up and opening a business. Life soon took them in different directions and different cities for over 15 years, but fate intervened, and Jeri and Dee came to the same salon. Their friendship was rekindled and with it grew the idea that they would like to open a beauty salon and surround themselves with salon professionals who were just as passionate about the “Beauty Business”. In July of 2004, they open the doors to Hairware & Co, a beautiful, well-equipped salon on Hall Street. Hairware & Co’s slogan “Your Good Looks are Important to Us” is truly the mission of our staff. They want every person who walks through the doors to feel special and look great when they leave. Hairware & Co. prides itself on the salon professionals who deliver hard work, creativity, and customer service.. Our owners and staff educate themselves on the latest beauty trends with in-house presentations by major suppliers such as Surface, Pureology, Redken & Ouidad, and by traveling to educational cosmetology events in cities including Denver, Kansas City, Omaha, and New York City. The Building, the Passion, the Girls…it’s the Hairware Experience!

Dee Wellbrock and Jeri Stewart
Dee has lived and worked in the Hays area for all of her professional life. Her talents have kept her clients looking good and coming back for 40 plus years.
Jeri's positive friendly attitude and her ability to find that special look has made her a hit with her clients for over 35 years.
Sarah
In 2003 Sarah began finding the perfect solution for her clients, utilizing her creative skills for all things color and the appropriate product for your hair. Call Sarah if you need a specialist in lightening hair. Sarah brings her love of blonde hair to an amazing reality when she creates that special dimension and tone for your style. She then will educate you on keeping your color and integrity of your hair at a maximum. If thicker and maybe extra length is what you're craving, let Sarah make that dream a reality with new extensions!

Hi ! My name is Darby, and I am a licensed esthetician! I offer facials, waxing, and lash services! I am extremely passionate about helping others and connecting with my guests. Education is very important to me, especially when it comes to teaching guests how to care for their skin. After all, it is the largest organ of the body! I have made it a priority to educate guests each time they visit me! Not only do you get a relaxing facial, or beautiful shaped brows, but also the knowledge of how to keep the skin healthy!

Hello! I'm Lisa and I have been a licensed cosmetologist for numerous years. I find satisfaction in creating classic styles to the latest trends and working with my guests to find that striking color for those special occasions. I always enjoy interacting with my guests and striving to find a look that compliments their individual personality & lifestyle. When I'm not at Hairware, you can find me spending time with my family, soaking up the sun, or loving both!
Brandy
Brandy Burkholder - Curl Specialist
Hi! I'm Brandy! I'm a small-town Kansas girl who loves Jesus, my family, and all things hair. From as early as I can remember I knew I was meant to be a stylist. Growing up I practiced my skills on myself and anyone who would let me (shout out to my brothers and sister)! In 2004 I completed cosmetology school and began building my dream career. While I enjoyed all aspects of hair, I soon realized that I especially found joy in helping people discover their natural curls and how to care for them. Thus, my quest to learn all things curls was born. Helping people accept their natural texture has truly become my passion. There is nothing more rewarding as a stylist than helping someone's inner beauty reflect through as they embrace who God designed them to be. The sparkle in someone's eyes as they discover how beautiful they truly are .... well, it's indescribable. I live for those moments which drives me to continue learning and growing as a Curl Specialist!

Hi! I'm Savannah! I have found a huge passion for kids cuts! I also offer women's cuts, men's cuts, colors, waxing, and gel manicures. I love to make people feel comfortable and beatiful in my chair! When I am not working behind the chair I spend my time coaching gymnastics! I can't wait to meet you!

As a local, independent salon, we do our very best to offer competitive pricing and often, we can even match those deals you see elsewhere. However, sometimes, the sheer buying power of those large corporations means they can offer prices that, honestly, we just can't always match dollar-for-dollar without compromising the quality of our service or the very existence of our small business.
